Calacatta Marble Flooring
Calacatta Marble is a premium quality stone also known as Calacatta Gold Marble. It is an imported marble having origin Apuan Mountains near Carrara, Italy. It comes with a natural and shiny white color with a deep grey or golden pattern on it. It has a very graceful appearance for the interior of the house. It is used for many constructions as well as decoration applications like flooring, wall cladding, stair casing, bathroom floors and walls, and another decorative purpose.
True! Though all marble is formed in the same way by nature, a marble may be unique and more highly sought after than others. Calacatta Marble is one such marble – a gorgeous, high-end natural stone desirable for its distinctive look and precious rarity for a range of applications.
Calacatta Marble is distinctive with its thick, bold veining. Rather than the plentiful soft veins of a marble-like Carrara, Calacatta’s hallmark is fewer but more dramatic and unstructured veins. Overall the color has a global appeal with designers and architects due to its soothing white background, veining, and color tone. (The whiter the background, the more expensive and desirable these marbles get.) The economy of Calacatta Marble’s veining is also suited to bookmatched installations which are less effective with other marbles that may have so many fine veins that there is no distinctive pattern to manipulate into a design.

Calacatta Marble Bathroom
While Calacatta Marble is expensive and some homeowners might hesitate to use it in the bathroom, when done well this natural stone can be a major highlight, taking a boring bathroom to the next level. Calacatta Marblewill lighten up any bathroom with a great backsplash and make all who use it feel like royalty, as long as they do the proper maintenance to safeguard against its porous nature by cleaning regularly and sealing frequently.
Calacatta Marble Kitchen
Obviously, Calacatta Marble looks great on any surface or room, but when used in the kitchen it comes with greater maintenance responsibilities. While there really isn’t much of a difference between Calacatta Marble and Carrara marble when it comes to being stain-proof, there is a difference between how visible these stains will be – remember, Calacatta Marble, tends to be whiter. They are both pretty porous, and nobody would classify either of them as low-maintenance.
